For app help or privacy requests, email xuezaigds@gmail.com. Include your app version, device model, iOS version and what happened. Redact customer names, addresses, tax identifiers and payment information from screenshots. Never send passwords or full payment card details.
How do I create my first document?
Enter your business details, open Documents and tap +. Choose Invoice, Estimate or Receipt, add a client and an item, then save. You can generate a PDF and use the system share or print options.
What does the free allowance include?
You can create 10 documents for free. A credit is used on the first valid save, not when you open a blank draft. Deleting a document does not restore the credit. The lifetime unlock removes the creation limit; existing records and exports remain available without purchase.
How do I restore my purchase?
Use the Apple Account that originally purchased the unlock. Open Settings → Lifetime purchase → Restore purchases while online. Restoring a purchase does not restore document data; use your saved backup for that. If the unlock is missing, contact support with the purchase date and app version, without sharing your Apple password.
How do I back up or move my data?
Open Settings → Data & backup. Export a JSON backup or complete archive to Files, iCloud Drive or another provider you choose. Keep a safe copy before deleting the app or changing devices. PDF and CSV exports are useful for sharing and reporting; use the JSON backup for restoring app data. Automatic iCloud synchronization is not enabled in the current release.
Can you recover a lost invoice?
We do not host your document database and cannot retrieve documents from your device. Restore from your own backup if available. Exports and system backups may contain personal business data, so keep them secure.
Which language appears in the PDF?
The interface supports English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese. PDF field options currently support English and bilingual English/Spanish, English/French or English/German. Changing the interface language does not translate old documents or change their currency.
Does ClearBill collect payments from my clients?
You may add your own payment link or QR code to a document. The provider you choose processes those payments under its own terms. The ClearBill lifetime in-app purchase is separate and is processed by Apple.
Are the tax settings legally compliant everywhere?
No. VAT, GST and Sales Tax settings help calculate amounts you enter. You remain responsible for required invoice fields, tax rates, record retention and local e-invoicing obligations.
